We have decided to do an unknown band; 'The Shape of the Earth', the song of theirs that we have chosen is 'Alone in This'.
Here are the lyrics:
'All these names and people places, oh I’m not that sure, I’m not that sure, am I alone in this?
All around the world they tell us oh we’re not that sure we’re not that sure, am I alone in this?
I don’t know how to breathe oh I’m not that sure, I’m not that sure, am I alone in this?
I always try and work on this a lot,
What I have I’m sure you haven’t got,
I can only, only tell the truth'
The main meaning of these lyrics refer to the fact that no matter where you are and who you are around people can still feel alone. Our video is going to link really well with these lyrics because as the lyrics state, 'people places' we are going to include scenes where our main character will be walking around it places where many people go, therefore are known as people places, however she will be on her own as well as also with people. This is to show that even in the company of others, she is unsure on how she feels about it and whether she wants to be there or not. We are going to film it in a way where it shows her wanting to escape and get away.
